4. Portland Queer Film Festival

The Portland Queer Film Festival is a yearly event held at Cinema 21 in Portland, OR that showcases selected LGBTQIA films from the selected year. It’s a fairly large event and showcases international and local films. This student project updated the current branding as a means to engage more directly with the queer community in Portland. To promote this event I was inspired by Gilbert Baker and the colors in the Pride Flag. However, it was important to me to not use those colors directly because unfortunately the classic rainbow colors felt generic and this event is anything but that.
